Common questions about Multiplier for hr software

The same questions US merchants ask before signing up.

  • Multiplier publishes a starting Employer of Record rate per employee per month and a Contractor of Record rate per active contract per month, both shown in the comparison table. Global payroll and immigration support are quote-only. There is no setup fee, no minimum headcount and you can cancel at any time. One caveat worth knowing: Multiplier prints a bare dollar sign against its prices without labelling the currency, and its billing FAQ lists several accepted currencies with US dollars first.

  • Not on its own. Multiplier sells Employer of Record, contractor management, global payroll and immigration support. Its HRIS features are bundled inside those subscriptions rather than sold as a standalone core-HR plan, which is why it shows as Get quote in the per-employee cost column here. For running HR on an existing a US team, an HRIS such as Gusto, Rippling or BambooHR is the right fit, with Multiplier added when you hire across borders.

  • Multiplier covers the most countries of the three for Employer of Record and starts at a lower published rate than Oyster, with no minimum headcount and no setup fee. Oyster publishes more of its rate card and offers named misclassification protection of up to USD 500,000, which Multiplier does not. Deel is the only one of the three that is also a real HR system, with Core HR at a flat $5 per employee per month, so it is the better single-platform choice if you want HR and global hiring together.

Strengths and trade-offs

  • No free tier
  • Global payroll and immigration are quote-only
  • No performance review or time-tracking tooling stated

About Multiplier

Multiplier is a global employment platform for hiring across borders without setting up a local entity. It sells Employer of Record (EOR) employment in 150-plus countries, contractor management, global payroll and immigration support, with published starting rates for EOR and contractors and quotes for the rest. It is not a standalone HR system: there is no core-HR plan you can buy on its own, and HRIS features are bundled inside the EOR or payroll subscription. There is no free tier, no setup fee, no minimum headcount, and support runs 24/5 through a dedicated customer success manager.

Multiplier was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in Singapore.
