Chase is a national US bank and holds business checking deposits directly rather than through a partner arrangement. It runs three self-serve business checking accounts, each carrying a monthly service fee that it waives once the account holds a published balance, and each measuring that balance differently: the entry account tests a minimum daily ending balance on every business day, while the two above it use an average beginning day balance that can dip.
The entry account also waives its fee on routes that have nothing to do with balance, including card acceptance volume through Chase Payment Solutions and eligible business card spend. For a merchant already taking card payments, that is often the practical route to no monthly fee.
Chase publishes a free cash deposit allowance on every tier, and cash paid in at one of its own ATMs is free and unlimited whatever the tier. Its published transaction allowance counts teller items and paper cheques; electronic deposits, ACH, ATM activity, debit card purchases and internal transfers are unlimited and free.
